Tom Greene, M.F.A, Ph.D., is the author of stories published in Strange Horizons, Interzone, Analog, McSweeny’s Internet Tendency, and Forever. His short story “Another Man’s Treasure” won first place in the 2014 Analog Anlab awards in the short story category. He is a full-time professor at a community college in New England with specializations in writing (creative, expository, and technical), Victorian literature, folklore, cultural studies, and genre fiction. He grew up in south Texas, is biracial Latino/Anglo, and was supposed to be a biologist before taking a left turn into language arts. When not teaching or writing, he plays tabletop and video games, enjoys film, and gives talks on vampire literature. He lives in a 19th century house in Salem, Massachusetts with his wife and at least three cats.
